Exhibition Text
In this project the clients best interests were always put up first. Having this communication and understanding of how they felt and wanted in the product. They wanted a product that is reliable and have different functions to it. The do work that needs lots of counter space and this product has it.
INSPIRATION
Hero's Journey
We met:
I met with a man who does designs for his job. That being the companies shirts and logos, as well as t-shirts and more. He works in a small area and can't take up too much space in his current work space..
We were amazed to learn:
He doesn't have a lot of counter space and is constantly moving form one area to another.
It would make a real difference if we could:
It would be beneficial if I were to help in creating a table that's multi purpose and easy to store.

What They had in Mind
These were the ideas that the person I met with had from the start. He felt that these should be included in the designing of the product.
In the first picture we took inspiration from the general concept of the product and how will be used by a person. The table is used by someone who is standing up. The person I met with wanted this function included in the design. The differences in our table will generally be bottom structural design.
In the second photo to the right he wanted to have something similar to the table top design. Have it so it is able to be moved. This was not a must have but something to consider. Our product will be similar in the fact that the we will both have moving table tops but different in the sense that it won't have the same base.

Larger Scale of the Table
This is how the table will look like when This is what the table will look like when
it is being used from a side view. the client would like to use the top at different angles from a side view.
There is a light on the table design to help the client see their work better from a side view.
This is how the front of the table will look This is how the back of the table will
tucked away, a side view. It stands look like when standing straight up.
straight up.
An extra leg will be attached a the back for the table to help with stability. The light will go back.
Visual Mind Map
Here I started with what I knew my idea needed and what it could be. So I began with the base of the problem, which is what is needed to actually create the product. Then wrote the things that were related to it. Coming up with the root of everything such as, where do I get it from and what does that effect. Then, taking these concepts and ideas that were on here and transferring it from words into a sketch.
The Storyboards
|
In these next storyboards they show how others are able to use these tables to their own benefit and in their own work environment.
What the sketch to the right shows is how one of the tables would would. How, if a person were to use it this is how it would look.
